Influenza Prevention 2009
by William Buchta, MD
Mayo Clinic
Programs were developed by AOEC member, William Buchta, MD of the Mayo Clinic. The two modules outline basic information about and prevention strategies for both typical seasonal influenza and H1N1. The two modules are very similar but one is designed for physicians and nurses and has a bit more clinical detail while the other is for allied health personnel. They are designed to be reviewed on an individual basis but can be used as a starting point for a full lecture.
They do not necessarily reflect the views of the Mayo Clinic system. Permission has been given by Dr. Buchta for use of these modules by AOEC members.
