Educational Resources

The Resource Library

The AOEC Educational Resource Library is a multi faceted resource available to both AOEC members and non-members. Library holdings include videotapes, peer reviewed slide presentations, CD ROM presentations, non-peer reviewed programs donated by members, and a number of brochures, information sheets and other miscellaneous materials.

Several programs are available either as down loadable files from this site (often PowerPoint presentations) or may be viewed while on this site.  Additionally, programs developed by AOEC members are linked to the AOEC site.

Both the ATSDR and NIOSH have supported the resources of the AOEC in many other dimensions, including the development of an extensive library of instructive materials. The link here was updated in 2/98. These are available for loan / "rent" at trivial prices. Each makes a superb foundation for academic presentations on Environmental or Occupational Health issues.

Newer materials include downloadable PowerPoint presentations, and entire web-based lectures.

Environmental Health Resource Center
The American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM) web site. This site provides a portal for ACPM members and other physicians to CME offerings in environmental health, updates on conferences, workshops, and events, and links to publications, organizations, and other environmental health education and training resources. The development of the Resource Center was supported through a Cooperative Agreement with the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR).
